Aedis + Yoga = Happier Employees

Cameron, our Communications Coordinator, and resident yogi, started holding virtual yoga sessions three times a week for our Aedis employees. The benefits of yoga include, but are not limited to, brighter moods, more energy, stress management, and increased productivity. Most importantly, it’s a way for us to stay connected with our teammates and release some of our desk-induced tension. #DeskYoga #AedisCulture #WFH

We Appreciation Teachers!

Aedis Paint Night Employee Happy Hour

Our resident artist, Chania, beautifully guided Aedis employees through a Paint Night Happy Hour, and our finished products came out as unique as each artist. With feedback like “We can’t wait to do this again!” and “Such a fun evening!” the only question left is, “What are we going to paint next time?”

Celebrating Pride

Stratford TimberQuest Site Tour

Stratford Middle School in Pleasanton is undergoing an exciting new addition! Working closely with XL Construction, and utilizing TimberQuest, we will deliver a beautiful building with 4 full-size and 2 small-group classrooms, a staff lounge, and restrooms for staff and students, all in time for the start of the 2023 school year. The over 8000 sf building will feature the biophilic elements TimberQuest is known for and that Stratford School values, including natural wood grain interior walls and large windows to let in an abundance of sunlight. Our team recently visited the site as the assembly was taking place, and while we have seen a TimberQuest installation before, it never ceases to amaze. Within 4 days the entire building was in place! We are proud to be leaving a #PositiveLastingImpact on Stratford Middle School in Pleasanton and look forward to seeing students and staff enjoy the finished product.

Red, white, and blue-becue!

At last night’s virtual #AedisCulture Happy Hour, Aedis employees celebrated the #4thofJuly with a live BBQ Showdown to see whose grill is the hottest. It was loads of fun, and we can’t wait to celebrate holidays in person together soon. We hope everyone in #America had a healthy and fun Fourth!

Aedis at Top Golf

More than 15 months ago, like so many other companies, we grabbed our computers and office chairs and heard the doors lock behind us as we headed into lock down. Over these several months, we have maintained our productivity and found creative ways to stay connected from all over the world. The gradual opening of the economy has allowed us more mobility and opportunity to meet in very small groups, but we haven’t been able to get together in a larger sense—solid relationships have been hard to maintain across separate teams. Starting next week, however, we will be returning to the office voluntarily, and with great care, considering the Delta Variant situation. The rekindling of our fun, creative, hard-working collaborative in-person office culture will begin! This week we kicked off the effort with an afternoon social event at San Jose’s new Top Golf facility. We are overjoyed to find that we still enjoy each other’s company!
